SWING home
SWING was established on 1st September 2004. Its main drop-in center is located at No. 3 Building, 5th floor, Soi Patpong 1, Suriyawong Road, Bangrak, Bangkok 10500. Also, Swing has other three drop-in center in Suttisan in Bangkok, Pattaya in Chonburi province, and Samui Island in Suratthani province. In our drop-in centers, we provide various services on health, education, and many interesting activities for sex workers. As well, our staff are full of understanding and appreciate to take care any sex workers who visits our drop-in centers.
SWING’s drop-in centers have been operated as home. In these warm homes, we encourage the atmosphere of learning and sharing the information on health, self-care and support. Our staff are ready to provide help and support as their family members.
SWING is a center for sex workers are of any gender, that is aimed to provide the education opportunities and to promote the good physical, emotional and mental health. in order to protect themselves from diseases, particularly HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
SWING is also a resource center where the community members and other general people can access to search for the educational information regarding health and social aspects of sex workers.
SWING is registered as a foundation under Thai laws. We collaborate with government agencies , NGOs, civil societies as well as private sector, so that the most appropriate services can be met with the real needs of sex workers and ultimately it will result in the good quality of their lives.
