SWING Clinic

At SWING, we are committed to improving the lives of male service workers by providing essential healthcare education, English language training, and non-formal education opportunities. Our goal is to broaden their choices and opportunities in both their professional and personal lives. Our clinic, certified by the Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health, offers comprehensive health services to the specific needs of service workers.

This includes blood tests and screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as syphilis and HIV.

Our Services

Conducting comprehensive blood tests for HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis C, including CD4 counts and Viral Load assessments.

Screening and detection of sexually transmitted infections, including Gonorrhea and Chlamydia, with referral services and support in accessing treatment.

Provision of antiretroviral medication to prevent HIV infection through Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

Specialized testing for hormone levels on transgender women.

Immediate initiation of antiretroviral therapy (Same-Day ART) for individuals who receive a positive HIV diagnosis.

Research estimates of the LGBTQ+ population and life circumstances and health of LGBTQ+ people.SWING had the honor of participating in a press conference on May 12, 2024, to announce the launch of the project "Research on Estimates of the LGBTQ+ Population and Life and Health Situations of LGBTQ+ People." This collaborative research, organized by the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, aims to survey the LGBTQ+ community's lifestyle and health. The event was supported by the Bureau for Supporting the Health of Specific Population Groups (Bureau 9), the Office of Health Promotion Support (Thai Health Promotion Foundation), and the National Statistics Office. Representatives from civil society organizations and the diversity community were also in attendance.
