On February 14, 2023, SWING Pattaya celebrated the launch of the Same Day ART project, a significant initiative that provides antiretroviral medication to individuals on the same day they receive an HIV diagnosis. The event was graced by Dr. Wichai Thanasophon, Director of Banglamung Hospital, who served as the ceremony's chairman. Other notable attendees included Assistant Professor Yuphadee Sirisinsuk, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office (NHSO); Dr. Darinda Roza, Deputy Director of the AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases Division; representatives from the Chonburi Provincial Public Health Office; Disease Control Office 6, Chonburi; the Health and Environment Department of Pattaya City; and representatives from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID/RDMA), who extended their congratulations to SWING Pattaya.

 

This initiative received substantial support from various network partners, including USAID, the EpiC Thailand Project by Family Health International (FHI 360), the NHSO, the Institute for HIV Research and Innovation (IHRI) Foundation, the Disease Control Office 6 in Chonburi Province, and the Chonburi Provincial Public Health Office.

Research estimates of the LGBTQ+ population and life circumstances and health of LGBTQ+ people.SWING had the honor of participating in a press conference on May 12, 2024, to announce the launch of the project "Research on Estimates of the LGBTQ+ Population and Life and Health Situations of LGBTQ+ People." This collaborative research, organized by the Institute for Population and Social Research at Mahidol University, aims to survey the LGBTQ+ community's lifestyle and health. The event was supported by the Bureau for Supporting the Health of Specific Population Groups (Bureau 9), the Office of Health Promotion Support (Thai Health Promotion Foundation), and the National Statistics Office. Representatives from civil society organizations and the diversity community were also in attendance. Over 13,000 Signatures Submitted to Draft Bill Repealing Prostitution Law: Ending Discrimination, Upholding Dignity, and Ensuring Equal Rights.   On February 6, 2025, at the Parliament, Khun. Naiyana Supapueng, a representative from the Service Workers in Group Foundation (SWING, Thailand), along with her team, submitted a draft bill to repeal the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act B.E. 2539 (1996), accompanied by over 13,000 supporting signatures. The draft was presented to Khun. Wan Muhammad Normatha, Speaker of the House of Representatives, with Khun. Kampee Disthakorn, the Speakers spokesperson, receiving it on his behalf.
